We are proud to announce the successful completion of the SUMED Gas Line Installation project, marking another significant milestone in ZafMarine's portfolio of complex marine construction projects. The project involved the installation of a 12km subsea gas pipeline in the challenging waters of the Gulf of Suez.

This strategic infrastructure project required precise engineering and execution to ensure the safe and efficient transport of natural gas from offshore production platforms to the SUMED (Suez-Mediterranean) pipeline network. Our comprehensive scope of work included seabed surveys, route engineering, pipeline installation, and post-lay trenching operations.

The project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents, demonstrating ZafMarine's commitment to excellence in project delivery and safety standards. This achievement significantly enhances Egypt's gas transportation capacity and supports the country's growing energy infrastructure needs.
